What this Website collects

The current Website does not ask you to create an account, submit an on-site form, join an email list, or provide personal information before downloading the free Checklist.

The Website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and selected CTA interactions such as opening the free Checklist or visiting a paid offer. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers and receives event details such as the action, destination, placement, and current page path. The Website does not send your name, email address, payment details, questionnaire answers, or itinerary materials to Google Analytics.

The Website does not ask you to create an account or submit personal information before using the public pages or downloading the free Checklist. Google’s own privacy terms and controls apply to the analytics service; you can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

Downloads and external services

The free Checklist downloads directly from this Website without an email gate.

MasterKit purchases and Journey Audit payments take place on Ko-fi. Journey Audit scheduling and the trip questionnaire take place on Cal after payment. Agreed arrival support may use WhatsApp. When you use one of these services, you leave the Lost in China Website and the relevant provider’s privacy terms and data practices apply.

Information used to provide a paid service

Information you intentionally submit through the agreed purchase, scheduling, questionnaire, and support routes is used to arrange and deliver the service you requested. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or account login credentials. Lost in China will not ask to log in to or operate your travel, payment, or booking accounts.

How long service materials are kept

Trip materials and working files are kept while the requested service, included revision, and any agreed arrival-support window are being delivered. Active working copies are normally deleted within 30 days after the final included service stage ends.

The final Blueprint and essential service correspondence may be kept for up to 12 months so delivery, revision history, and service questions can be handled. Some order, payment, scheduling, messaging, tax, or platform records may need to be kept by Lost in China or the external provider for longer.

Changes to this notice

This notice will be updated if the Website adds a newsletter form, account system, advertising pixels, or another material form of on-site data collection.
